Payment routes
SIMA’s public pages describe annual membership dues, events, research, sponsorship and voluntary support. Creating an account or sending an inquiry is not a payment. Membership and contribution buttons continue directly to an external payment service or the account registration service. Card details are entered only with the payment service; no card-entry form is operated on these pages.
What to review before paying
Confirm the legal recipient, payment purpose, amount, currency, membership period or service date, charge frequency, and applicable refund and cancellation conditions. Published membership and event amounts are in USD. Starting rates based on annual revenue require an individual assessment. The receiving organization and amount on your checkout or invoice must correspond to the commitment you intend to make.
Charge timing and methods
Available methods and the timing of a charge are shown by the receiving service before you authorize payment. These pages do not promise a particular card network, bank-transfer method or processor. They do not activate a recurring authorization when you browse, prepare a message or submit a membership inquiry.
Confirmation and records
Retain the confirmation, invoice and receipt supplied for the transaction. If you do not receive confirmation or are unsure whether a charge succeeded, check with the recipient or payment service before retrying. An inquiry acknowledgment is not proof of payment or membership acceptance.
Errors, refunds and disputes
For a duplicate or failed payment, a billing question, cancellation or a refund request, provide the relevant transaction reference to the receiving organization. Follow the Refund and Cancellation Policies and the specific transaction terms. You may contact your financial institution or payment service regarding its procedures and applicable rights.
Payment security and contact
Do not enter card details into the contact form or send security codes or passwords by email. Check the destination and recipient of a hosted checkout before paying.
