How to request a refund
Contact SIMA at info@surf-industry.site or +1 840 246 4778 with your name, company, payment date, amount, receiving organization, transaction or invoice reference, and reason for your request. Do not send card numbers, security codes or account passwords. A request is not a confirmation that a refund has been approved.
Membership dues
The conditions disclosed for the applicable annual membership transaction govern eligibility. Ask SIMA to clarify those conditions before you pay if a refund would be important to your decision. Membership cancellation and a request to reverse paid dues are separate matters. Benefits already used and the applicable agreement may affect the outcome.
Event registrations and sponsorships
Refer to the booking confirmation or sponsorship agreement for the specific event. Registration fees, exhibitor fees, sponsorship services, substitutions, changes and cancellation terms may differ by event and purchase. Ask the event team about your particular booking and the effect of any services already delivered.
Voluntary contributions
Contact the organization identified on your receipt. Contributions to an associated fund may be received by a distinct entity rather than the trade association. Explain any duplicate charge, mistake or concern about the contribution. The receiving organization evaluates the request under the disclosed contribution terms and applicable law.
Duplicate, mistaken or unrecognized payments
If you believe a payment was duplicated, entered incorrectly or is not yours, contact the recipient promptly and provide a transaction reference. Check a payment’s status before trying again. You may also contact your financial institution or the payment service about your rights and account security.
Decision and processing
No universal refund window or guaranteed approval applies across the different transactions described on this website. The applicable offer or agreement and statutory rights determine eligibility. If a refund is approved, the recipient or transaction service provides processing information; the time to appear in your account also depends on the payment service and financial institution.
